Removal Procedure

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Without KL9) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (With KL9)

Disengage Battery Distribution Fuse Block Retaining Tab (1)
Open the battery fuse block cover.(2)

Remove Protective Cap (2)
Remove Generator Positive Cable Fastener (1)
Remove Battery Positive Cable (3)
Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
