Installation Procedure

  1. Install Battery Negative Cable (2)
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  2. Install Battery Negative Cable Ground Fastener (1) and tighten 40 N.m (30 lb ft)
  3. Engage Retainer (3)

  4. Install Battery Negative Cable (2)
  5. Install Battery Negative Cable Frame Ground Fastener (1) and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  6. Install Battery Negative Cable (3)
  7. Use an open ended wrench to hold the battery sensor ground tab, while tightening the battery negative cable nut.(2)
  8. Install Battery Negative Cable Nut (1) and tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)
