Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front side door trim. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Replacement (Sedan) .
  2. Remove the front side door water deflector.

  3. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the front side door outside handle bracket for the luminous reflecting light, if equipped
    4. NOTE:

    When removing the door lock cylinder screw Do Not go past the hard stop.

  4. Loosen the screw for the lock cylinder bezel. Refer to Front Side Door Lock Cylinder Bezel Replacement .

  5. Remove the front side door outside handle (1) from the door as follows:
    1. Open the door handle fully.
    2. Slide the door handle rearward releasing the handle from the door handle bracket.
    3. Remove the front side door outside handle and connector from the door.
