Component Testing

  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the appropriate A24 Door Handle Assembly-Rear Exterior.
  2. Test for infinite resistance between the signal terminal 1 and the ground terminal 5 with the switch in the open position.
    • If less than infinite resistance 

      Replace the A24 Door Handle Assembly-Rear Exterior.

    • If infinite resistance 
  3. Test for less than 5 Ω between the signal terminal 1 and the ground terminal 4 with the switch in the closed position.
    • If 5 Ω or greater 

      Replace the A24 Door Handle Assembly-Rear Exterior.

    • If less than 5 Ω 
  4. All OK
