Removal Procedure

Remove the instrument panel knee bolster. Refer to Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Replacement .
Disconnect the clutch pedal position sensor electrical connector.

NOTE:

Place shop towels over the carpeting to prevent possible damage.

Remove the clutch master cylinder fasteners (1).

Disconnect the clutch master cylinder to clutch pedal retainer (1) from the clutch pedal.

NOTE:

It is Not necessary to disconnect the reservoir hose or clutch pipe from the master cylinder.

Reposition the clutch master cylinder (2) away from the clutch pedal assembly.

Remove the clutch pedal assembly fasteners (1) from the brake pedal assembly.
Remove the clutch pedal assembly (2) from the vehicle.
If replacing the clutch pedal, transfer components as necessary.
