Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the manual transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement (M3L)Transmission Replacement (MG9) .
  2. Remove the starter. Refer to Starter Replacement (LGX)Starter Replacement (LCV, LTG)Starter Replacement (LF4 - Manual Transmission)Starter Replacement (LF4 - Automatic Transmission) .
  3. Install the EN-50792  tool.
  4. Remove and DISCARD the six clutch pressure plate bolts (1).
  5. Remove the clutch pressure plate (2) from the dowel pins on the flywheel.
  6. Remove the driven disc (3).
