Easy Entry Seat Description

The rear seat easy entry function assists the rear seat passenger to enter the vehicle by moving the front seat to its most forward position. The seat memory control module controls both the driver and passenger seat easy entry and manual seat horizontal functions. The easy entry seat motor is a two speed application of the seat horizontal motor, high speed and low speed. The high speed function is used during the easy entry operation while the low speed function is used for manual forward and rearward horizontal seat movement.
