Easy Entry Seat - Coupe Only

The easy entry seat system is available on the coupe only. The system consists of driver and passenger seat easy entry switches, seat horizontal motor, and the seat memory control module. The seat easy entry switches are located in the bezel of the seat back cushion release handle. Battery voltage is supplied at all times to the easy entry switches through a 5 A fuse located in the rear body fuse block.

The seat easy entry switch signal circuits are discrete inputs to the control module. Using the driver seat easy entry switch to move the entire seat forward and rearward functions is the same as using the driver seat adjuster switch. For the circuit description of the seat horizontal operation, refer to Seat Motors above.

The front passenger seat is a non-memory seat, however, with the seat easy entry system seat horizontal motor is controlled by the seat memory control module similar to the driver seat horizontal motor. The seat can be moved forward or rearward using either the passenger seat easy entry switch or the passenger seat adjuster switch.
