Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front differential carrier from the vehicle. Refer to Front Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement (LGX or LF4) Front Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement (LCV or LTG) .

  2. Using a suitable tool, remove the left output shaft oil seal (1) from the carrier (2).
