Draining Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS)Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS-V) .
  2. Remove the engine compartment lower noise shield. Refer to Engine Compartment Lower Noise Shield Replacement (All Wheel Drive)Engine Compartment Lower Noise Shield Replacement (Front Wheel Drive) .
  3. Clean any dirt from around the differential drain plug (1).
  4. Position a drain pan under drain plug.
  5. Remove the drain plug (1) from the differential and drain the fluid.
