Installation Procedure

Prepare the brake caliper bolts and steering knuckle threaded holes for assembly:
- Thoroughly clean the residue from the bolt threads with denatured alcohol or equivalent and allow to dry.
- Thoroughly clean the residue from the threaded holes with denatured alcohol or equivalent and allow to dry.
- Apply threadlocker to 2/3 of the threaded length of the caliper bolts. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
- Ensure there are no gaps in the threadlocker along the length of the filled area of the bolts.
- Allow the threadlocker to cure approximately 10 minutes before installation.

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install Brake Caliper Bolt (1)
Tighten
1. First Pass: 150 N.m (111 lb ft)
2. Final Pass:30 degrees

Install NEW brake hose fitting gaskets.

Install Brake Hose Fitting Gasket (1) @Brake Hose Fitting (2)

Install Brake Hose Fitting Bolt (1) 40 N.m (30 lb ft)
