Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS)Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS-V) .
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Non V-Series)Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (V-Series) .
    3. Fig 1: Brake Caliper Pins

  3. Hold the ends of the brake pad spring down and carefully drive out the brake pad pins (1) from the brake caliper.

  4. Remove the brake pad spring (1).
