Installation Procedure

Install the brake hose to the vehicle.

Assemble new brake hose fitting gaskets (1) to the brake hose fitting bolt (2) and the brake hose fitting (3).

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the brake hose assembly to the brake caliper and tighten the brake hose fitting bolt to 49 N.m (36 lb ft).

Install the brake hose retaining clip (1).

Connect the brake pipe fitting (1) to the brake hose.
Tighten the brake pipe fitting to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).
Bleed the hydraulic brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual) Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) .
Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Non V-Series)Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (V-Series) .
