Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS)Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS-V)
  2. Remove tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Non V-Series)Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (V-Series) »Remove
    3. Fig 1: Brake Pipe Fitting

  3. Disconnect Brake Pipe Fitting (1)
  4. Cap the brake pipe fitting to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.

  5. Remove Brake Hose Retainer (1)

  6. Remove Brake Hose Fitting Bolt (1)

    NOTE:

    Do not reuse the brake hose fitting gaskets.

  7. Remove and DISCARD Brake Hose Fitting Gaskets (1) (Qty: 2) @ Rear Brake Hose (2)
  8. Remove Rear Brake Hose
