Rear Side Door Outside Handle Cable Replacement

Preliminary Procedure Remove the rear side door latch and handle bracket assembly from the door. Refer to Rear Side Door Latch Replacement .
1	Rear Side Door Outside Handle Cable Procedure Remove the rear side door outside handle cable from the retainers. Do not remove the inside door handle cable from the latch. Release the cable from the back of the latch assembly. Unhook the cable from the handle bracket. NOTE: Ensure that the door lock system operates properly before installing the trim.

Rear Side Door Outside Handle Cable

Procedure

Remove the rear side door outside handle cable from the retainers.
Do not remove the inside door handle cable from the latch.
Release the cable from the back of the latch assembly.
Unhook the cable from the handle bracket.

NOTE:

Ensure that the door lock system operates properly before installing the trim.
