Front Side Door Lock Cylinder Rod Replacement (Coupe)

Preliminary Procedure Remove the front side door latch and handle bracket assembly from the door. Refer to Front Side Door Latch Replacement (Coupe) .
1	Front Side Door Lock Cylinder Rod Procedure Remove the front side door lock cylinder rod from the lock cylinder by turning the housing bracket counterclockwise. Remove the front side door lock cylinder rod from the latch by turning the latch counterclockwise. Release the lock cylinder rod from the latch only, do not remove the handle cables from the latch. NOTE: DO NOT remove the handle cables from the front side door latch. Ensure that the door lock system operates properly before installing the trim.

Front Side Door Lock Cylinder Rod

Procedure

Remove the front side door lock cylinder rod from the lock cylinder by turning the housing bracket counterclockwise.
Remove the front side door lock cylinder rod from the latch by turning the latch counterclockwise.
Release the lock cylinder rod from the latch only, do not remove the handle cables from the latch.

NOTE:

DO NOT remove the handle cables from the front side door latch.
Ensure that the door lock system operates properly before installing the trim.
