Installation Procedure

- Place the sunroof window seal (1) to the window.
- Firmly press the sunroof window seal into gutter the of the sunroof window frame.
- Install the sunroof window. Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement .
- Water test the vehicle to ensure no leaks.
NOTE:
When installing a new sunroof window seal it's important to clean the seal and sunroof opening flange, apply a coat of seal lubricant, GM P/N 3634770 or equivalent to the entire periphery of the seal and sunroof opening flange to prevent the sunroof from having creaking type noises when the sunroof window is in the close position.
NOTE:
Start the sunroof window seal with the seam of the seal in the center rear of the window. Work the seal around the perimeter of the sunroof window frame and fully seated.
NOTE:
Ensure that the sunroof window seal is properly seated around the entire perimeter of the sunroof window frame.
