Installation Procedure

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    NOTE:

    Inspect the anti-rotation tab of the lower brace bracket to ensure that the tab is flush with the oil pan rib.

  1. Position the lower brace bracket (2) and tighten the bolt (1) to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).

  2. Catalytic Converter Brace Bracket-Lower (3)
  3. Install Catalytic Converter Brace Bracket Bolt (1) and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  4. Install Catalytic Converter Brace Bracket Bolt (2) Install and tighten 58 N.m (43 lb ft)
  5. Lower the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS)Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS-V)
