Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement (Coupe)

Preliminary Procedure Open the hood.
1	Windshield Wiper Arm Nut Cap Procedure Using an appropriate tool, release the finish cap from the wiper arm assembly.
2	Windshield Wiper Arm Nut CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 36 N.m (27 lb ft)
3	Windshield Wiper Arm Procedure Using a battery terminal puller, grasp the wiper arm flange and remove the wiper arm from the windshield wiper transmission pivot shaft. Clean the pivot shaft knurls with a soft wire brush before installing a new windshield wiper arm. When installing, align the wiper arm to the windshield alignment marks on the windshield blackout area. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Adjustment . When installing, hold the windshield wiper arm in the aligned position, depress the wiper arm knuckle joint and torque the wiper arm nut as specified above.
