Preliminary Procedures Remove the windshield multifunction sensor mounting bracket lower cover. Refer to Windshield Multifunction Sensor Mount Bracket Lower Cover Replacement (With UEU, UFL) Windshield Multifunction Sensor Mount Bracket Lower Cover Replacement (Without UEU, UFL) . Remove the windshield multifunction sensor mounting bracket cover. Refer to Windshield Multifunction Sensor Mount Bracket Cover Replacement (With UEU, UFL) Windshield Multifunction Sensor Mount Bracket Cover Replacement (Without UEU, UFL) . Remove the inside rearview mirror. Refer to Inside Rearview Mirror Replacement .
1	Windshield Outside Moisture/Ambient Light And Humidity Sensor Procedures Unlatch the windshield outside moisture/ambient light and humidity sensor from the inside rear view mirror support bracket. Disconnect the windshield outside moisture/ambient light and humidity sensor connector. NOTE: When removing the protection cover from back of the sensor, do NOT touch the clear SEL_GEL on the NEW sensor. Touching the gel can cause contamination and poor performance to the sensor.

Remove the windshield multifunction sensor mounting bracket cover. Refer to Windshield Multifunction Sensor Mount Bracket Cover Replacement (With UEU, UFL) Windshield Multifunction Sensor Mount Bracket Cover Replacement (Without UEU, UFL) .
Remove the inside rearview mirror. Refer to Inside Rearview Mirror Replacement .

Windshield Outside Moisture/Ambient Light And Humidity Sensor

Procedures

Unlatch the windshield outside moisture/ambient light and humidity sensor from the inside rear view mirror support bracket.
Disconnect the windshield outside moisture/ambient light and humidity sensor connector.

NOTE:

When removing the protection cover from back of the sensor, do NOT touch the clear SEL_GEL on the NEW sensor. Touching the gel can cause contamination and poor performance to the sensor.
