Preliminary Procedures
- Read the Wiper/Washer System Description and Operation for the operation of the headlamp washer system before starting the repair. Refer to Wiper/Washer System Description and Operation .
- Have replacement part ready to be installed.

Headlamp Washer Nozzle Hole Cover Procedure
- Use a small plastic flat-bladed tool to pullout the washer hole cover with the headlamp washer nozzle and hold out with your hand.
- Using a suitable tool, grasp the washer nozzle stem, holding it out.
- Remove the washer nozzle hole cover from the headlamp washer nozzle and continue to hold the wiper nozzle stem.
- Install the new washer nozzle hole cover to the headlamp washer nozzle.
- Grasp the washer hole cover with your hand, remove the tool, and release the washer hole cover to retract into the headlamp washer nozzle actuator.
- Inspect the headlamp washer system for proper operation. Refer to Wiper/Washer System Description and Operation .
