Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection 
  2. Air Inlet Grille Panel-Remove Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement (Sedan)Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement (Coupe)
  3. Starter Heat Shield-Remove Starter Shield Replacement (LGX) 
  4. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Base)Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (V-Series)

  5. Starter Solenoid Cable Nut 1 - Remove
  6. Fastener - Remove
  7. Starter Solenoid Cable 2 - Remove
  8. Lower the vehicle.

  9. Release the retainers 1.

  10. Power Distributor Fuse Block Cover - Remove
  11. Battery Fuse Block Battery Positive Cable Nut - Remove
  12. Battery Positive Cable - Remove
  13. Starter Solenoid Cable - Remove

  14. Release the retainers.
