Removal Procedure

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Base)Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (V-Series)

Starter Solenoid Connector - Disconnect
Starter Solenoid Cable Nut - Remove
Starter Solenoid Cable - Remove
Starter - Remove

Disconnect the starter solenoid cable connector (1) from the engine harness connector (2).

Remove the following from the pre-fuse junction block:
- Battery Jumper Post Cover (1)
- Pre-Fuse Block Cover (2)
- Battery Positive Barrel Fastener (3)
- Battery Positive Cable (4)
- Starter Solenoid Cable (5)
Starter Solenoid Cable - Remove
