Removal Procedure

Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Base)Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (V-Series)

Remove the starter bolts.

Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the starter.
