Installation Procedure

Connect the electrical connector and install the starter.

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the starter mounting bolts.Tighten 58 N.m (43 lb ft)
Heated Oxygen Sensor Electrical Connector - Reposition

Battery Positive Cable - Install
Starter Solenoid Cable Nut - Tighten 12.5 N.m (111 lb in)
Battery Positive Cable Fastener - Tighten 6 N.m (53 lb in)

Starter Heat Shield - Install - Starter Shield Replacement (LGX)
Lower the vehicle.
Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
