1	Front Case Half CAUTION: Apply the proper amount of the sealant when assembling this component. Excessive use of the sealant can prohibit the component from sealing properly. A component that is not sealed properly can leak leading to extensive engine damage. Procedure Ensure both sealing surfaces of the front and rear case halves are free of dirt, oil and cleaning solvent. Apply a 3-4 mm (0.12-0.16 in) bead of sealant to the sealing service of the front case half. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
