Removal Procedure

  1. Install the J-42971  air line release tool onto the differential oil cooler or differential oil pump pipe.

    NOTE:

    Do not use the tool to pry the hose away from the fitting.

  2. Pull rearward on the pipe (1) to disconnect from the pipe fitting.
  3. Remove J-42971  air line release tool from the pipe fitting.
