Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS)Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS-V) .
    2. Fig 1: Differential Fill Plug

  2. Remove the fill plug (1).
    3. Fig 2: Drain Plug

  3. Place a drain pan under the vehicle.
  4. Remove the drain plug (1).
  5. Allow the differential to drain completely.
