Differential Clutch Oil Inspection (226mm eLSD)

- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS)Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS-V) .
- Clean any dirt from around the differential clutch cover plug.
- Remove the differential clutch cover plug (1) from the differential clutch cover.
- Check the differential clutch fluid level. it should be even with the bottom of the plug hole to no lower than 6 mm (0.25 in) below the opening.
- Add new fluid if necessary. For the recommended fluid, refer to Approximate Fluid Capacities .
- Install the differential clutch cover plug (1) to the differential clutch cover. Tighten to 19 N.m (14 lb ft).
- Perform the Rear Differential Hydraulic System Service Fill/Bleed Procedure if fluid was added. Refer to Rear Differential Hydraulic System Service Fill/Bleed .
- Lower the vehicle.
