Component Testing

  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the B269 Rear Differential Oil Temperature Sensor.
  2. Test for 12.6K-900 Ω between the signal terminal A and the low reference circuit terminal B.
    • If not between 12.6K-900 Ω 

      Replace the B269 Rear Differential Oil Temperature Sensor.

    • If between 12.6K-900 Ω 
  3. Test for infinite resistance between each terminal and the sensor housing/case.
    • If less than infinite resistance 

      Replace the B269 Rear Differential Oil Temperature Sensor.

    • If infinite resistance 
  4. All OK
