Removal Procedure

- Relieve the system fuel pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief .
- Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
- Remove the fuel feed pipe (1) from the engine and retainers. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS)Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS-V) .
- Remove the underbody front air deflector right side. Refer to Underbody Front Air Deflector Replacement - Right Side .
- Remove the front body exhaust heat shield right side. Refer to Front Body Exhaust Heat Shield Replacement (Right)Front Body Exhaust Heat Shield Replacement (Left) .
- Disconnect the fuel feed pipe (1) and remove from retainers (2). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
- Remove the fuel feed pipe (1) from the vehicle.
