Removal Procedure

- Disconnect the intake air pressure and temperature sensor electrical connector.
- Remove the charge air cooler outlet air tube (1) from the throttle body (2) while rotating the collar counterclockwise.
- Remove the front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Non V-Series)Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (V-Series) .
- Pull the release clip (1) outward and disconnect the charge air cooler outlet air tube (2) from the charge air cooler (3).
- Remove the charge air cooler outlet air tube (2) from the vehicle.
NOTE:
The charge air cooler is equipped with a locking collar. Rotate the collar counterclockwise to release the charge air cooler.
