Front Bumper Fascia Air Deflector Actuator Replacement

Preliminary Procedure 
Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (V) .
1 Front Bumper Fascia Air Deflector Actuator Retainer

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  2. Using a suitable tool, press the retainer tab outward from the center of the actuator, to release the lower retainer tab of the air deflector actuator.
2 Front Bumper Fascia Air Deflector Actuator

Procedure

  1. Slowly rotate the air deflector actuator upward with a twisting motion to disengage the air deflector actuator from the shutter gear.
  2. To reinstall, position the air deflector actuator to the shutter gear and rotate downward to engage the retainer tabs and slowly press into place until the retainers are seated onto the air deflector actuator.
NOTE:

There is no required alignment position to install the air deflector actuator to the shutter gear.
