Draining Procedure

- Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS) .
- Clean away all dirt and debris from the transmission fluid temperature sensor/drain plug area.
- Place a suitable drain pan under the transmission.
- Remove the drain plug (2).
- Allow the system to drain.
- Install the drain plug (2) and tighten to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).
