Installation Procedure

  1. If removed, inspect the reverse lockout assembly O-ring (3). Replace the reverse lockout assembly O-ring if necessary.
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the reverse lockout assembly (4) and bolt (1) and tighten to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).
  3. Install the reverse lockout solenoid (2).

    Tighten the reverse lockout solenoid (2) to 40 N.m (30 lb ft).

  4. Connect the reverse lockout solenoid electrical connector (1).
  5. Lower the vehicle.
