Installation Procedure

Apply sealant to the threads of the backup lamp switch. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers (M3L) for the recommended sealant material.

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the backup lamp switch (2) and tighten the switch to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).

Connect the backup lamp switch electrical connector (1).
Lower the vehicle.
