Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON.
  2. Verify that no other DTCs are set.
    • If no other DTCs are set 
  3. Verify the scan tool Total Excessive Clutch Slip Time parameter is 0 s.
    • If Total Excessive Clutch Slip Time is more than 0 s 

      Refer to Component Testing.

    • If Total Excessive Clutch Slip Time is 0 s 
    4. WARNING:

    Refer to Road Test Warning .

  4. Test drive the vehicle, shifting the transmission through all gear ranges, ensuring the clutch pedal is fully released after each shift.
  5. Verify the scan tool Total Excessive Clutch Slip Time parameter remains 0 s.
    • If Total Excessive Clutch Slip Time is more than 0 s 

      Refer to Component Testing.

    • If Total Excessive Clutch Slip Time is 0 s 
  6. Operate the vehicle within the conditions for running the DTC to verify the DTC does not set. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
    • If the DTC sets 

      Refer to Component Testing.

    • If the DTC does not set 
  7. All OK.
