Component Testing

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2017 Cadillac ATS. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install a 3 A fused jumper wire between the 5 V reference terminal A and 5 V.
  2. Install a jumper wire between the low reference terminal C and ground.
  3. Test for 0.5-5.2 V without any spikes or dropouts between the signal terminal B and the low reference circuit terminal C while moving the sensor through the entire range.
    • If not 0.5-5.2 V or has spikes or dropouts 

      Replace the B25B Clutch Pedal Position Sensor.

    • If 0.5-5.2 V and there are no spikes or dropouts 
  4. All OK.
