Circuit/System Verification

Ignition ON, Engine OFF.
Verify DTC P0651 is not set.
- If DTC P0651 is set
  Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle .
- If DTC P0651 is not set
Verify the scan tool CPP Sensor parameter is 0% with the clutch pedal in the full release position.
- If greater than the specified value
  Refer to Circuit/System Testing.
- If equal to the specified value
Verify with a scan tool the CPP Sensor parameter is between 98-100% with the clutch pedal in the fully depressed position.
- If less than the specified value
  Refer to Circuit/System Testing.
- If within the specified values
Verify the scan tool CPP Sensor parameter transitions smoothly through the range between 0% - 100% when the clutch pedal is fully depressed.
- If the parameter does not transition smoothly, drops out, or momentarily spikes during clutch pedal movement
  Refer to Circuit/System Testing.
- If the parameter does transition smoothly and does not spike or dropout, during clutch pedal movement
Operate the vehicle within the conditions for running the DTC to verify the DTC does not set. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
- If the DTC sets
  Refer to Circuit/System Testing.
- If the DTC does not set
All OK.
