Removal Procedure

- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS-V)
- Remove Front Compartment Air Deflector Front Compartment Air Deflector Replacement (V Series)
- Remove Front Compartment Lower Noise Shield Front Compartment Lower Noise Shield Replacement (Front Wheel Drive) Front Compartment Lower Noise Shield Replacement (All Wheel Drive)
- Support Shear Plate with jackstands.
- Remove Front Cradle Shear Plate Fastener (1) and (2)
- Remove the jackstand supports.
- Remove Front Cradle Shear Plate (1) @Front Cradle Shear Plate Hook (2)
NOTE:
When the jackstands are removed, the Front Cradle Shear Plate will swing on the front hook.
