Installation Procedure

- Position the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe (1) on the vehicle.
- Install a NEW transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe fitting seal (1).
- Install the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe (2) in the transmission.
- Install the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe bolt (1) in the transmission and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
- Install the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe clip bolts (1) in the engine block and front drive axle housing and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
- Install Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Clip (1) @Radiator Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection
- Install Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe (2) @Radiator
- Install Engine Compartment Lower Noise Shield.Engine Compartment Lower Noise Shield Replacement (All Wheel Drive)Engine Compartment Lower Noise Shield Replacement (Front Wheel Drive)
- Install Front Air Deflector. Front Air Deflector Replacement
- Install Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Clip (1) @Radiator Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection
- Install Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe (2)@Radiator
- Install Air Cleaner Assembly.Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (LGX)
- Install Front Compartment Front Sight Shield.Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Replacement (Sedan)Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Replacement (Coupe)
- Check the transmission fluid level. Transmission Fluid Level and Condition Check
- Inspect for transmission fluid leaks.
