Installation Procedure

- Position the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe (1) on the vehicle.
- Install a NEW transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe fitting seal (1).
- Install the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe clip (4) in the range selector lever cable bracket.
- Install the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe (3) in the transmission.
- Install the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe bolt (2) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
- Install the range selector lever cable heat shield bolt (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Install Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Clip (1) @Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe(Mid Line Left) Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection
- Install Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe(Mid Line Left) (2) @Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe
- Install Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Clip (1) @Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe(Mid Line Right)Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection
- Install Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe (Mid Line Right) (2) @Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe
- Install the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe clip (3) in the transmission mount.
- Install the transmission cooler inlet and outlet pipe clip bolt (1) in the engine oil pan and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
- Install the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe clip bolt (1) in the drivetrain and front suspension cradle and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Install Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Clip (1) @Transmission Fluid Auxiliary Cooler Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection
- Install Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Clip (1) @Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection
- Install Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe(Jumper) (2)
- Install Front Cradle Shear Plate. Front Cradle Shear Plate Replacement (V Series)
- Install Engine Compartment Lower Noise Shield.Engine Compartment Lower Noise Shield Replacement (All Wheel Drive)
- Install Front Compartment Air Deflector.Front Compartment Air Deflector Replacement (V Series)
- Install Front Wheelhouse Liner.Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (V-Series)
- Install Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Clip (1) @Radiator Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection
- Install Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe (2) @Radiator
- Install Air Cleaner Assembly. Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (LF4)
- Install Front Compartment Front Sight Shield.Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Replacement (ATS-V)
- Fill the transmission to the proper level with NEW transmission fluid. Transmission Fluid Fill Procedure
- Inspect for transmission fluid leaks.
