Installation Procedure

  1. Install the oil pump. Refer to Balancer Shaft with Oil Pump Assemble
    2. Fig 1: Balancer Shaft with Oil Pump

  2. Install Balancer Shaft with Oil Pump (2)
  3. Loosely install Balancer Shaft with Oil Pump Bolts (1) (Qty: 8)

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Tighten Balancer Shaft with Oil Pump Bolts in sequence (Qty: 8)

    Tighten

    1. First pass  58 N.m (43 lb ft)
    2. Final pass  58 N.m (43 lb ft)
  5. Install Timing Chain Crankshaft Sprocket. Refer to Timing Chain Crankshaft Sprocket Replacement 
  6. Install Oil Pan (Upper). Refer to Oil Pan Replacement (Upper)
