Installation Procedure

- Install Heater Inlet Hose (2) @ Heater Inlet Hose Connector
- Engage Heater Inlet Hose Clamp (1). Refer to Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type .
- Install Heater Outlet Hose (1) @ Heater Core Tube. Refer to Heater Outlet Hose Replacement (LGX)
- Install Heater Inlet Hose (2) @ Heater Inlet and Outlet Pipe
- Engage Heater Inlet Hose Clamp (1). Refer to Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Install Auxiliary Heater Outlet Hose. Refer to Auxiliary Heater Outlet Hose Replacement (LGX)
- Install Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace - Right Side. Refer to Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace Replacement - Right Side
- Install Intake Manifold Cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LGX)
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS)
- Install Catalytic Converter - Right Side. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement - Right Side (LGX)
- Lower the vehicle.
- Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static)Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716)
- Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
NOTE:
Lubricate the inside diameters of the heater inlet hose with clean coolant prior to installation.
