Removal Procedure

  1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-134a) Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-1234yf) 
  2. Remove Air Cleaner Assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (LF4)Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (LGX)

  3. Remove Air Conditioning Compressor Hose (2) @ Air Conditioning Evaporator Hose. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor Hose Replacement (LGX)

  4. Remove Air Conditioning Condenser Hose Nut (1)
  5. Remove Air Conditioning Evaporator Hose (2) @ Air Conditioning Condenser Tube
  6. Remove Air Conditioning Evaporator Hose Clip Nut (3)
  7. Remove and DISCARD the sealing washer. (4)

  8. Remove Air Conditioning Evaporator Hose Clip Nut (2)
  9. Remove Air Conditioning Evaporator Hose (1) @ Front Wheelhouse Panel

  10. Remove Air Conditioning Evaporator Thermal Expansion Valve Hose Nut (2)
  11. Remove Air Conditioning Evaporator Hose (3) @ Air Conditioning Evaporator Thermal Expansion Valve
  12. Remove and DISCARD the sealing washers. (1) (Qty: 2)
  13. Remove the air conditioning evaporator hose from the vehicle.
