Removal Procedure

  1. Recover the air conditioning system refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-134a) Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-1234yf) .
  2. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (LGX) .

  3. Remove the air conditioning compressor hose nut (1)
  4. Remove the air conditioning compressor and condenser hose (2) from air conditioning evaporator hose joint.
  5. Remove and discard the sealing washer (3).

  6. Remove the air conditioning compressor and condenser hose bolt (1) at the compressor.
  7. Remove the air conditioning compressor and condenser hose (2) from the compressor.
  8. Remove and discard the sealing washers (3).
  9. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS) .
  10. Remove the left front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Non V-Series) .

  11. Remove the air conditioning compressor and condenser hose nut (1) at the condenser.
  12. Remove the air conditioning compressor and condenser hose (2) from the condenser.
  13. Remove and discard the sealing washer (3) and replace with NEW sealing washers.

  14. Remove the air conditioning compressor and condenser hose (1) from vehicle.
