Rear Compartment Lift Window Weatherstrip Replacement

Preliminary Procedures Open the rear compartment. Remove the tail lamp assembly. Refer to Rear Body Structure Stop Lamp Replacement (Coupe) .
1	Rear Compartment Lift Window Weatherstrip Procedures Remove the weatherstrip from the body side quarter panel, pulling the weatherstrip gently to disengage the foam adhesive tape. Use a solution of 50/50 isopropyl alcohol and water to clean the adhesive surface. Peel the protective film from the foam tape on the sides of the new weatherstrip, or install two sided tape to the sides of a reused weatherstrip. Install the weatherstrip on the body side quarter panel by pressing down until seated. NOTE: Water test the vehicle to ensure no leaks.

Remove the weatherstrip from the body side quarter panel, pulling the weatherstrip gently to disengage the foam adhesive tape.
Use a solution of 50/50 isopropyl alcohol and water to clean the adhesive surface.
Peel the protective film from the foam tape on the sides of the new weatherstrip, or install two sided tape to the sides of a reused weatherstrip.
Install the weatherstrip on the body side quarter panel by pressing down until seated.

NOTE:

Water test the vehicle to ensure no leaks.
