1	Hood CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Adjustment Procedure Loosen the 4 hood hinge bolts. Adjust the hood in order to obtain an even gap on both sides between the hood and the fenders, the headlamps and the front bumper fascia and so that the hood is flush with both fenders on the front edge, the front bumper fascia, and the headlamps. Loosen and adjust the hood primary and secondary latch and the hood bumpers as necessary to obtain the adjustment. Adjustments Hood to front fender (a) 4.0 mm ± 1.0 mm (0.12 in ± 0.04 in) Hood to front fender (b) 4.0 mm ± 1.0 mm (0.12 in ± 0.04 in) Hood to headlamp (c) 4.0 mm ± 1.0 mm (0.12 in ± 0.04 in) Hood to front bumper fascia (d) 6.5 mm ± 1.0 mm (0.12 in ± 0.04 in) Hood to grille (e) 6.5 mm ± 1.0 mm (0.12 in ± 0.04 in) Tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

Adjustment Procedure

Loosen the 4 hood hinge bolts.
Adjust the hood in order to obtain an even gap on both sides between the hood and the fenders, the headlamps and the front bumper fascia and so that the hood is flush with both fenders on the front edge, the front bumper fascia, and the headlamps.
Loosen and adjust the hood primary and secondary latch and the hood bumpers as necessary to obtain the adjustment.

Hood to grille (e) 6.5 mm ± 1.0 mm (0.12 in ± 0.04 in)

Tighten
22 N.m (16 lb ft)
