Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2017 Cadillac ATS. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Install the starter (2) into position and tighten the starter lower mounting fastener (2) to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
- Install the starter upper mounting fastener (1), to the starter (2), and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
- Install the battery positive cable (3), to the starter solenoid (4), and tighten the fastener (1) to 12.5 N.m (111 lb in).
- Connect the engine harness connector (1) to the starter solenoid (4).
- Install the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement .
- Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
