Installation Procedure

  1. Position the front compartment fuse block housing (1) by pressing down on the locking levers, then with a slight shaking motion on the locking levers seat the front compartment fuse block housing.
  2. Press the locking levers in the full down position to the fuse block housing (1). To engage the 4 retainer tabs using light pressure on the locking levers to allow the locking levers to be rotated to the full down position.

  3. Install Fuse Battery Distribution Unit Engine Compartment Block (1)

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Install Fuse Battery Distribution Unit Engine Compartment Block Nut (1) and tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)

  5. Install Engine Wiring Harness Terminal and Nut (1) and tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)
  6. Install Forward Lamp Wiring Harness Terminal and Nut (2) and tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)

  7. Install Accessory Power Fuse Block Front Wiring Harness Nut (3) »Install and tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)
  8. Install Battery Positive Cable Junction Block Nut (2) »Install and tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)
  9. Install Battery Positive Cable Junction Block Lead Nut (1) »Install and tighten 15 N.m (11 lb ft)

  10. Install Front Compartment Fuse Block Housing Cover (1)

  11. Install Pre Fuse Block Cover (1)
  12. Connect Battery Negative Cable Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  13. Install Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Replacement (Sedan)Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Replacement (Coupe)Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Replacement (ATS-V) .
